Who am I?

​

...is the one question that every young person asks. The youth in this generation turns to group or online identity, academics, appearance, or relationships to find thier worth. This process is laden with instability, vulnerability, and insecurity. In this digital world children are groomed to place their identity in that which is constantly changing. This leaves students vulnerable in who they are and thus vulnerable to abuse, manipulation, peer pressure, anxiety, and risky behavior such as drugs, substance addiction, and promiscuity among other issues. 

 

Multiple sub-issues plague our youth and their ability to establish a firm identity. Worth It Network targets these 4 specific issues:

 To counter these issues Worth It takes a 4 step approach

  1. Research: Publish peer-reviewed research to develop informed primary prevention strategies

  2. Educate: Provide schools, parents, and students with health education resources and speakers by topic

  3. Activate: Activate schools and parents to equip their students to thrive in our digital sex-driven culture 

  4. Inspire: Inspire youth to establish a firm identity and to live out their worth
